Idorenyin Uto-Uko created Box Man, an all ages urban hip hop story about overcoming obstacles. This book is both uplifting and unique. I really liked the poetic language style Ido writes in. The reader is transported through time to meet with important historical figures when they were dealing with a problem they could not solve. Box man converses with them and helps teach them how to face those challenges. On this voyage we meet Beethoven, Einstein, Tupac, and Toni Morrison and each character teaches us an important lesson. Box Man is a short story, but it leaves you wanting more. I recommended the book to my friend who has children and he told me his son really liked the book. It is a good book to read to children because of the way the poetic style and words carry the story. Box Man is a great way to get children to think outside the box and expand their horizons towards learning. www.boxmancomics.blogspot.com boxmancomics@hotmail.com twitter.com/boxmancomics

What a great way to look at self and the obstacles we can over come, by stepping out side of self, and knowing you can achieve, no matter what comes your way.
