We Speak Baylingual Music Blog: Producer Malcolm Lee Releases "The Vibes"
This 8 track Instrumental Album called "The Vibes" recently put out by innovative producer Malcolm Lee, starts out with a sample, speaking about the concept of vibrations and how it effects the listener. Then out of nowhere some bongo drums hits the background of the sample with an alienesque sound of vibration, till the strings interrupt with the drum pattern of Boom Boom Clap, Boom Boom Clap, till it reaches the bongos getting their own chance to be the main instrument. "One" is the name of the 2nd track on the list, which has a very happy feel behind it, with the sound of what to me sounds like chime/electronics. It is used in a way that reminds me of points in a movie, where B-roll would be fading in and out of focus through a rainy day, with street lights and people walking with umbrellas and odd angle shots. Now I am only giving you a piece of what I have heard, it is actually up to you to click the links below, and check out for yourself what I have experienced. This is a very well put together album, worthy of having it played on a lazy day off, or to clear your thoughts and used for meditation. Check out the video below to see the single from the project:
