SONIDO CLASH* PA' BAILAR COMO TUS ABUELITOS

Sonido Clash is a cultural and musical movement that takes place every first friday of the month at the Fairmont Hotel Pagoda Restaurant. The Sonido Clash crew kicked off their first 2013 event with two feet forward on January 4th, 2103. It was no coincidence the flier had the three wise men because the performers that night  only brought gifts for the good little boys and girls who brought their dancing shoes. It is the way the holiday season is celebrated throughout parts of Latin America, and this particular party featured the always wise Deejay Roger Mas from San Francisco, and a collaboration between Local artists DJ Abraham and The Philthy Dronez. These gifts came in the form of cumbia rythms blended with record scratching, mashups, and remixes. Rare dance beat experimentation for young and old to groove to.
