PEOPLE: Collaborative Art Show of Edgar Godinez and Daniel Valencia
A collaboration show by Daniel Valencia and Edgar Godinez -- photography and mixed media paintings.
Last Friday my bro and I had a collaboration show at De-Bug. It was quite an amazing experience participating in a show that had a good amount of my work. All I had participated in was group shows, so I’ve only a piece or two at The Usuals and Seeing Things Gallery, but nothing of this magnitude, and it was something.

The turnout was cool. I do appreciate everybody that came out. What did amaze me though and I found real cool was that most of the attendees were our age. I didn't mention it, but we`re seventeen, and most of the attendees were our generation. Something that I’ve noticed at other shows is that everybody knows each other, everybody is around the same age, which is usually older. That was something that has made me feel like a kid with weak work.

Anyways the show was cool, my bro Daniel
Valencia had his photography, I had my work, my bro Ruben Juarez
premiered his short film, People, and we had another friend, Jose Govea,
jam out with his band, slashing twilight. I thank De-Bug for the
opportunity, the space, the freedom that they gave us to make
this our show.![]()
This work will be up at De-Bug, including the Stockton Street window gallery, so stop by and check it out.
