Oakland's Dime faces chronic health concerns and illness affecting her ability to paint. With her families support and having a son she is able to heal physically, survive and live. Dime continues the legacy of healing neighborhoods, families and herself through the power of colors, letters and cultural resistance.
Transforming a Negative to Positive Dime discovers the importance of
self healing in order to heal community.
