Remember when you were a little kid and anticipated to when the circus would come to town? Well, the equivalent of the circus is coming to town. Monster’s Energy drink Aftershock is coming to town with a rather impressive line-up, and we here at De-Bug can’t wait to see some of our all time favorite bands come to Sacramento.

"Prayers" answered in San José with event produced by Sonido Clash

For the past 6 years In downtown San José a local collective called Sonido Clash has been organizing cultural entertainment events for the community. This July featured Cholo Goth group "PRAYERS" out of San Diego, CA and Xuxa Santa Maria from Oakland, CA.

As part of an on going multimedia series called "Arriving and Becoming: The Silicon Valley Story as Told by Immigrant Elders", Octavio Martinez tells the story of hearing his mother talk about coming to America to work hard in hopes to return to her homeland saying, "I can't die here."
