Our organizing comes from moving together to make our lives better, our neighbors lives better.

That’s why De-Bug campaigns cover so many issues - from worker’s rights, protecting immigrants and our rights, keeping local history alive, supporting families who lost loved ones to police violence - to the work we are most recognized for, now after more than 20 years - called Participatory Defense - a community organizing model that came out of our experiences in San Jose, CA to walk with families to become a part of the defense of their loved one who is facing charges or incarcerated.

De-Bug began with temporary workers on high tech assembly lines of Silicon Valley – sharing their stories with each other to not feel alone, learn about their rights and
