Jacob Dominguez's family gathers to honor his life

Last Monday, on Martin Luther King Jr Day, the family of Jacob Dominguez held a potluck at his gravesite to honor his life. Jacob was killed by San Jose Police on Friday, September 15, and last Monday marked four months without him. Only 33 years old, Jacob leaves behind his mom and sister, aunts, his wife, and three children – all under the age of 8.

Some of these photos were taken on the day of his funeral, and Jacob's family graciously allowed us to share this very personal moment of pain, in hopes that no family ever go through this again, and that the community knows how loved Jacob was, and will always be.
