Prisoners United of Silicon Valley to Resume Hunger Strike

Prisoners United of Silicon Valley will resume a hunger strike for the third time in three years because conditions they have protested around solitary confinement and classification have not improved. Here is the letter to the Sheriff stating the reasons for the April 15th strike.

On April 15th, 2018 Prisoners United of Silicon Valley will once again hunger strike in protest of solitary confinement, grievance system negligence, meaningless classification reviews, among other injustices not remedied by the administration. Below is the letter sent to Sheriff Laurie Smith, also sent to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
